What’s new? Actually, there are new things to report. Good things, at that. But let’s start with the not-quite-so-good news: I decided to switch off the subdomain that I had been building for Hive 53 for several years. It’s been sitting there, doing nothing, and I myself have been sitting there, doing nothing to change this. With a heavy heart (and to finally be rid of my bad conscience), I deactivated the domain today. This doesn’t mean, there will be no further artwork from the project, I just don’t want an inactive website around for which I still have to do the maintenance. Content that was meant for the project will instead be integrated here, which may be the smarter choice anyway.
Now for the much more pleasant news: I recently got the wonderful opportunity to work on a couple of book covers again. And they’re awesome projects which I’m really excited about! Once I get the green light for showing them, I’m going to share, of course. As of now, they’re still in progress and not yet released. Also did several black/white illustrations for a book which I will also share in the future. Although it’s non-fiction, it still has to do with sci-fi.
Thanks for reading, stay healthy and happy!
