Chapter 1: Taking Flight
May I introduce the main Wraith character to you? His name (to make things easier I’ve given them names) is Castox. Born as a cynic he’s often close to madness on a ship primarily peopled by excentric fools.
EDIT: After I saw the episode “Vegas” from season 5 I had to alter his backview in the first panel. I added the elongated vertebrae along his spine and I sent him to the tattoo studio.

Radio: Hiveship Silla. Do you copy? Hiveship Silla. It is urgent.
Castox: Hmpfff…?
Panel 2
Radio: This is hiveship Plorii! Silla, respond!
Castox: Ngrrrrrrrwr
Panel 3
Radio: Silla! We are taking course through your area. Stay clear.
Panel 4
Castox: No need to get loud, Plorii. We’re here.
Panel 5
Castox: What year is it by the way? Our alarm clock seems to be broken and–
Radio: Does that mean you are still asleep?
Castox: I can’t speak for everyone but I’m still asleep, partially.
Radio: They are still asleep! Quick! Tell them to stay put!
Panel 6
Castox: Hiveship Plorii? We miss something?
Panel 7
Radio: Do not wake your hive! Leave as much of you asleep as possible! There is not enough food available!
Castox: Nice. That motivates me no end… Just give me a moment.
Panel 8
Castox (telepathically) Everybody listen to me now! I won’t sing a lullaby for you but it would be nice if you’d just stay out cold for a few years longer!
(telepathic mumbling) Boy, I’m famished! I need to go to the toilet. Coffee… Why do I have this weird taste in my mouth?
