There is a new commission ahead that I’m very much looking forward to do – something I’ve dreamed of for long, long years. I’ve been asked to illustrate a children’s book! It’s all very exciting at the moment because there may be more such work in the future. Though I’ve been working as a graphics designer for 17 years by now, illustration is my one true passion, so the prospect of being able to do what I like best makes me very happy just now. Let’s see how I’ll feel about it when the deadline looms close and I haven’t finished all pictures – that’ll be a whole other cup of tea but for the moment, I’ll just hang on and enjoy the ride. 😉

After the news about my bad cold, I wanted to post something more uplifting on here to let you know I’m not a habitual whiner.
