Another wonderful series for young readers that I contribute illustrions to: Ein Fall für die Patchwork Kids from the publishing house in Farbe und Bunt. This is the cover illustration for the first book Der verschwundene Milliardär (the missing billionaire). I like working on the series because of its cartoony and reduced style.

The publisher’s summary: Jack’s life is upside down! Along with his mum’s new boyfriend, his children Ian and Ellie have also moved into the small house on the Californian coast. Chaos is inevitable!

After an unsuccessful trip, the three children are offered the chance to go on a cruise together. Which is about to get worse: The patchwork kids’ realtionship, a planned jewellery theft or the disappearance of a famous guest?
