Additional illustrations for the pages of “Es lebe Space 2063” (Long live Space 2063), published by the Verlag in Farbe und Bunt

The design of the alien space suit/combat suit was an interesting experience to draw and quite different from what my confort zone normally is. I tend to get confused by too many details because they can collide with my wish to keep the overall silhouette readable. But I also like a challenge and am quite happy with how it turned out. In case you are a long-time fan of the series with a keen eye for detail and something is wrong or amiss, please don’t judge me too hard. There’s not much good image material for reference available on the net.

On a sidenote: I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to prepare a fresh blog post for Tuesday. I might look in to the publishing schedule once more and maybe have to reduce the frequency. 🙁
