Commissioned book cover for the new book “Deutscher Fernseh-Kult: Diese Drombuschs”, published by the Verlag in Farbe und Bunt.

Digital work with lots of reference photos used. The aim was to get as close as possible to the real location of the tv series.

Background: “Diese Drombuschs” was a very popular German TV series in the 80s. It’s one of the cornerstones of German TV entertainment of the era and still has a very active fanbase. It was a pleasure contributing to it.

Drawing architecture tends to be well out of my comfort zone so it was a bit of a challenge to draw this iconic building but I’m happy with how it came out and I learned much along the proccess.
