Chapter 1: Taking Flight

The first page of my weirdo comic project Hive 53.
I tried a new coloring style on this one. I wanted to do something less time consuming than in my previous project “Grievous Life”. This comic will have only a loose linear storyline. It will consist mainly of short episodes.

Elisabeth: Anything on the long range sensors, Radek?

Panel 2
Radek: Nothing. But I assure you if that changes you’ll be the first to know.

Panel 3
Rodney: No hiveship is able to creep up on us unnoticed.
Teyla: Do we know how much of them are left?

Panel 4
Rodney: If I’m not mistaken, and I seldom am, there should be about 52 of them out there, thanks to our continued endeavours in reducing their number.

Panel 5
Ronon: 12,20, 50… I’ll handle them.

Panel 6
Ronon: Let them all come.

Panel 7
John: Yeah, but maybe not all of them at once.
